Jeremy J. Smith: Pianist

Jeremy Smith began playing the classics on the piano when he
was very young. After studying piano with accomplished pianist and
performer Craig Zinger for many years, Jeremy began to create his own style on
the piano. Now a pianist who specializes in new age music, Jeremy has
played for restaurants, bands, parties, and other assorted gigs.
He
was one of the pianists for the Mt. Lebanon High School Jazz Band, played piano
for the Mt. Lebanon High School Percussion Ensemble, has been hired to play for
many Christmas parties, and plays keyboards regularly in the churches of Mt.
Lebanon. For a period, while the Café was in business, Jeremy was given
the job of entertaining people eating dinner at Kate and Allies Café and
Catering. He played background piano music for the dinner crowds. Jeremy uses Yamaha pianos and keyboards. A new scene for Jeremy has been playing keyboards in local bars and
clubs with a new band, Uptown Rhythm and Brass. This band plays everything
from James Taylor to Peter Gabriel, from Chicago to Blood, Sweat, and Tears, and
so on. With two trumpets, two saxophones, trombone, keyboards, guitar,
bass, drums, and percussion, this band is jamming! Last, Jeremy also
gives private piano lessons to anyone willing to learn.
